Ireland is the best country to invest in in Western Europe, according to the annual Global Best-to-Invest Rankings compiled by international magazine Site Selection. The country finished ahead of the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, in the poll. Dublin was deemed the best metropolitan area to locate in followed by Frankfurt, Edinburgh and Birmingham.
